The California State Fair, like many state fairs, is held in August, the hottest month of the year. In Sacramento, that means temps over 100 degrees during the days. It usually cools significantly in the evenings, but not this year. Dawn and I went once after work - it was still near 90 when the fair closed - and one Saturday.
