Dawn and I vacationed with her sister, Cindy, and brother-in-law, Ray, in Carmel and Yosemite National Park in July 2007. It was a lot of ground to cover in only six days, but we made the most of it. We stayed outside the park at Evergreen Lodge and hiked on the valley floor in Yosemite due to the limited time and the July heat. But we know we'll do it again. Maybe in a couple years. In May. We celebrated our fifth anniversary in Laguna Beach and spent our time visiting old haunts and old friends. Laguna Beach is an entirely different experience in May; the crowds that spoil it for us during the summer months were conspicuously absent allowing us to relax and enjoy.
