Hillary's Threat
Dick Morris gave a speech at an exclusive retreat hosted by David Horowitz in Santa Barbara, California, in late March. In it he talked about Hillary Clinton (remember, he was Bill Clinton’s campaign manager in 1996), the other presidential candidates, Iran, illegal immigration and other issues, and he supports them all with facts and statistics. It’s lengthy, but a really good read. Here are some excerpts:
Hillary came to the conclusion that we wouldn’t vote for her if we knew what she was like. And she’s right. She’s got a case. So she develops these many masks that she puts on - the mask of moderation, the mask of being just a normal working mother, the mask of being a feminist. This woman never accomplished anything; her husband handed it to her…
The first chapter is on all the illegal immigrants that come here — not over the border from Mexico, but legally, at Kennedy Airport and LAX — and get off the plane, show their visas, and then overstay the visas and stay here legally. They’re 45% of the illegal immigrants in the U.S. And virtually all of the 9/11 terrorists came that way…
An informative read no matter which side of the aisle you support.

Morris is a ^%%^$&^%! I am compassionate, a wonderful working mother, a careing wife, a super Senator, and I am for all things good and against all things bad. America needs me!
Communist!!!
Oh, PLEEZE! Cut the crap. Welfare Reform, which Morris falsely credits Bill Clinton with, was a Republican priority for decades. When Republicans finally wrenched control of Congress, it passed Welfare Reform three times – and the bill was votoed by Bill Clinton three times, before he finally gave in, signed it, and immediately took credit for it, just as Morris is doing now, and just as Democrats continue to do. In fact, everything of value that Clinton takes credit for during his administration was shoved down his throat by a Republican Congress and signed by Clinton only after repeated vetoes failed.
Among her other flaws, Hillary is notoriously short-fuzed.
One hissy-fit on camera, and she's sunk.
A bit of poking & prodding is all that is needed...
His contradictory views of both Bill and Hillary does draw ones attention. He describes Bill as a perfect opportunist, but also as a policy wonk. He describes Hillary as fixated on policy, but also as ignorant of the consequences of policies.
He still does not seem to even contemplate that the 2008 Presidential race will probably be between Giuliani/Rice and Clinton/Obama.
It milght be interesting to read how he see that kind of race shaking out.
