Space Ship Lands in New Mexico

sheep1.jpgMany of you will recall that on July 8, 1947, witnesses claimed that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and cattle ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico. This is a well-known incident that many say has long been covered up by the U.S. Air Force and the federal government.

However, what you may not know is that in the month of March, 1948, exactly nine months after that historic day, the following people were born:

Albert Arnold Gore, Jr.: Hillary Rodham; John F. Kerry; William Jefferson Clinton; Howard Dean; Nancy Pelosi; Dianne Feinstein; Charles E. Schumer and Barbara Boxer.

See what happens when aliens breed with sheep? Explains a lot, doesn’t it?

I've seen this before as well as the Dim's version (listing Republican's names) that followed. Of course, I needn't point out that, except for Gore, none of these people were born in March. Also, "nine months after that historic day" would be April, not March.

Love the sheep picture!

We drove through Roswell a few years ago and were amazed at what a tacky tourist town it is with cheap signs and alien blowup dolls everywhere. I doun't think even they believe the alien myth.

HAH! Republican humor. How droll.
What you need Doug is a good Lemon M&M Enema....pucker up.

Hmmm... Not sure what that is unless it has something to do with a phone call we received last night...

Yes, yes, I'm well aware that only Gore was born in March and that the alien gestation period took 8 months rather than 9. I knew someone would point the apparent errors out - thanks Todd - but I found the humor worthy of a little license.

And Michael, it didn't escape me that Democrats, seemingly unphased by the aforementioned math and science errors, were quick to usurp the humor and release their own version (substituting names of Republicans which also violate math and science norms.)

But still funny either way, yes? And the dems still haven't explained Gore...

I am embarrassed to admit it but the date facts escaped me at first. I just thought it was funny. I still think it is funny. But I am not one to let facts cloud humor.
