Turkey Trivia Quiz

Heather sends this informative, short quiz reasoning, I suspect, that since most of us will be enjoying a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner in a couple days, we should know something about the critters we’re about to devour. What’s to know, you ask? Well, take the quiz. You may discover you don’t know jack about turkeys and learn something new in the process. Gobble, gobble!

Guess I didn't know Jack about turkeys. That was fun.

We are closing at noon today through the weekend. I'll pick up a turkey on the way home and be ready for the big day of gorging and football.

I call a foul! The questions included geography and history! I won't give away the answers but I missed 2, 8, 9,10, 11, and 13. I picked Gerald Ford for 18 (he was a turkey himself), but apparently that is wrong. The quiz marked me wrong on the last one. I protest! Everyone knows the best way to defrost a turkey is with a hairdryer!

Hooray! I got 16 right! I guess I do know jack about gobblers! In fact, I am watching mine defrost right now!

If you go to the bottom of the quiz page and select Turkey Facts, it will take you to another page of interesting turkey knowledge. You can impress the relatives at dinner Thursday with your turkey knowledge. (-:

I learned after watching the Sarah Palin Turkey Pardoning interview there that turkeys don't come from the grocery store. No indeed, they come from farms there where they are slaughtered there in some kind of animal torture machine there that drains their blood, also.
