Photo of the Month - Change

I realize this is a little late. But with Obama building a cabinet comprised largely of second term Clintonites, some of us are wondering how that squares with the “change” we’re expecting when he moves into the White House. Is that it? Changing back? (H.T. James)

It's a change back to the old guard. The dems see this as a massive opportunity to institute programs that wouldn't otherwise have had a prayer of passing, a kind of "anything we do now will float" because we've been handed this economic crises (that we helped create) and people are desperate. You know that equals more taxes for the haves and more social welfare for the have nots. But it will be deeper and more ruthless than anyone imagines.

Ha. You would think that after Reagan we would know you can't tax us into prosperity. You may pay down some debt and make some bottom tier voters happy for a while. But it stifles business and job growth, eventually stalling our economy. Then big tax cuts are needed to revive and that only happens when Repubs are in power and even then, the new social programs can't be touched because once people are getting them, they won't give them up and Dems won't touch them for fear of losing votes. We are in quicksand. I hope we don't sink before we realize it.

This guy wins for entertainment value, probably got some extra change for making people smile, but he boogered his sign by adding "I'm" after the fact. Dude! Plan ahead!

LOL! I shouldn't laugh at this poor guy and I'm not. I'm laughing at his sign. I would toss him whatever change I had for making me laugh. I hope whoever took this picture paid him for it.

Me too. I want change from what hasn't worked to something that will. When Reagan was President, things worked and our country was prosperous. Tax cuts. When Kennedy was President, things worked. Tax cuts. However as extreme left wingers have increased their power in Congress, we have been slipping further toward socialism and enlarged the already overgrown bureaucracy it takes to bungle run it.

Left wingers like Obama believe the country needs even more socialism but haven't been able to get the public to sign on. Until now. Now they will push hard because we failed to recognize the wolf in sheep's clothing and handed them the key to our wallets.

That is a clever sign. When I see a guy like this, I wonder if he has no work skills or if he figured out that he can make more money by signing up for all the sundry social programs and holding his hat. I think anybody can at least push a broom.

Most people walk by people like this guy so they have learned the value of entertainment. Clever signs = bigger handouts. He should look for a job in Marketing.

Hey, news flash, the election is over. Let's give the new guy a chance.
