Not as funny as the cat ones but still funny :-)

It is my aunt's dog Pepper exactly!! She will eat until she can barely move, then she goes to sleep and snores!! They always feed her under the table so she looks like a cocktail wiener ready to explode!! I told her it isn't healthy for the poor thing to feed her so much human food but she can't resist begging. Poor fat little dog :(

Only 2 more hours of work and I can kiss sucky 2008 goodbye :)

My mother in law has a dog just like this. They put out too much food and the dog eats it all and begs for more come dinner time. They also feed him table scraps and tons of people food when he begs at the dinner table. I don't think he will live too much longer because he is so obese for a dog.

Maybe this guy could do a series like this for the ASPCA. We need to educate people about not overfeeding their dogs.

The dog is funny ^__^ but I feel sorry him. Overfeeding will kill him. Very sad that people do this without a clue.

You would think that by now, people would know that canines cannot properly digest human food and that excessive feeding leads, as in humans, to obesity and all the problems associated with that condition. Want to kill your pet? Over feed, especially foods other than quality dog foods.

Though a humorous depiction, pet obesity is a serious problem. Take notice. Please.

This is LOL funny :) But it shows a common bad practice (feeding table food to pets) and what it can lead to in your pet.

Dogs are trained to either not beg or trained to beg and over eat. Rewarding them with food is bad, it makes them associate food with affection. Also it is bad to teach dogs to do tricks or standard obedience with food rewards. They need praise, not food. Training with food sets them up for bad eating later. Also feeding them your food especially from the table is very bad, not just for the behavior it reinforces but for their digestive systems which aren't made for it. Teaching them to not beg right from the start is easy and best for your pet. GIve them lots of praise instead.
