Stinson Beach Getaway - Part 2

DSC_0854pw600.jpg

Today’s post is a photo album of more images taken during our getaway to Stinson Beach (see Friday’s post). I haven’t processed all the images Dawn and I made - I’ll post another album this week.

Thanks to all of you that commented about Friday’s images. I hope you enjoy these as well.

The little dinghy is my favorite. Reflects the mood of the place.....slow and laid back. Nice capture.

Your sunsets are spectacular. Also like the overcast/dark cloud images. One is almost HDR!!

Very nice work!!

These are beautiful pictures, Doug. The ones of the boat and the sunset are my favs. Also the one that looks like a real early sunrise after a storm, it is almost eery! I wish I could take pictures like that!

Did anyone notice the rain squall in the sunset photos? Nice catch!!

Is that what is hanging below ther cloud in the distance? I thought tghat was a weird shaped cloud! Rain that doesn't actually hit the ground? I don't think I have seen that!!

Yes, but it is touching the "ground".

Are you one of the surf fishermen?

March 18 | Unregistered CommenterTeresa

No, but I have great respect for folks who are willing to get up at the crack of dawn to stand in really cold water hoping to snag an unwary fish.

Really nice work, Doug! I especially like #4 (sandpiper lower left); #7 (person walking on beach); and #38 (sandpiper reflecting). Where is #14? Near an airport, San Francisco? All very good work.

Wonderful pictures of Stinson Beach. We have gone in the summer when the beach is full of people and the seagulls raid the food right off your blanket! Interesting to see it when it is empty.
