Gas Prices Got You Down?

No matter how high local gas prices climb, there will always be some place where they’re higher. For example, here’s a shot taken last week in San Francisco, and you can bet it’s higher this week…

That's the truth! I paid $3.39 yesterday for regular at Sam's Club. It was $3.45 at Chevron!

The E. Roosevelt BP in e.Philly last night had premium for $3.69 so I bought regular instead to save a little. I hope things settle down soon. I read people are starting to set fire to their big cars for the insurance. Its getting pretty bad.

And we aren't even into summer yet, when gas prices always go up because of "increased demand". We will most likely see $5 or more per gallon. We are getting royally screwed, not just by OPEC but by the effing oil companies who can't even count all the billions they are making in profits!

That is why I am riding my bike to work! I save money and keep in shape!

Regular is $4.19 at Shell (5th St & Folsom) today. Lower in some other parts of the city but higher in some.

I use gasbuddy.com. You enter your zip code or city and it tells you where the cheapest gas is that day. I sometimes drive a little further but the savings is well worth the effort.

I have had it. I am looking for a new job nearer to my apartment so I can walk to work. Driving and parking are killing me. It just isn't worth it. I figure if I have to take a cut in pay to work closer to home I will still probably come out money ahead and the exercise wouldn't hurt me either.

Or you could move closer to work.....
