Offically, there will always be smart people lacking education.
You aren't making fun of her accent, are you?
Offically, no. But yes.
I am beginning to tire of the annual May 1 "rallies" help by illegal immigrants "demanding" rights of citizens. And I am damn tired of our government not arresting them all, deporting them, and busing them back across the border. The sign is funny, but the problem is no laughing matter.
I hate that the media keeps using the term "immigration reform". What illegals want is the complete elimination of our immigration laws so that they can just walk across the border and sign up legally for the milk and honey without waiting in line and meeting the long standing requirements of entry and subsequent citizenship. Call it what it is: "Back Door Legal Status Leading to Short Cut Citizenship For Illegal Mexicans." It isn't reform. It would be a rewarded fee pass for law breakers.
Watch out Penelope, or you might be called a racist.
That would be funny since I am of Mexican descent. My grandparents immigrated (the legal way) and became citizens before my mother was born. I am a second generation American citizen but I am against our government catering to those who want legal status now and don't want to get it through the proper legal channels.
No one talks about how illegals have flooded the job markets and made it tougher for citizens like me to get a job. Employers look at us like we are one of them. It isn't right. The government should deport the illegals, keep them from sneaking back in, and make them apply for temporary work visas and citizenship like my grandparents did.
Thank you for speaking out! We need to say it out loud! No free ride for illegals!
All your posts today end with question marks. Is there some hidden meaning?
Huh?
I hadn't noticed, but do you think there's a hidden meaning?
Is it that you are pondering our place in the universe and can't make sense of it? Struggling with society's inability to filter the gene pool? Trying to cope with ever increasing postage rates? Is that your problem, Bucky?
How did you know?
Good guess?
Are frogs clairvoyant?
Let's stop this madness, OK?
Is the game over?
Yup, it's "offical" - Kermit won because I yielded.
First rule in sign making: Have someone proof read it before you make a fool of yourself.
I found that it is written into the California State Constitution that English is the official language of the State of California.

Scroll down to Section 6, if you don't believe me...
Yes, it is. But the irony of the sign is its misspelling...
