That's actually a pretty funny one! "Baroque" is my word for the day. Have heard it for years and never understood what it meant: Pertaining to the musical period following the Renaissance, extending roughly from 1600 to 1750; anything extravagantly ornamented, i.e. something so ornate as to be in bad taste.

Commit to memory, it will be on the test.

Not bad for the first pun of the year. Let's hope it is a sign of things to come :)

I just do not "get" puns.

That's a good one, better than usual.

Thanks Hookercrook for the gramatical lesson.

Sad, very sad. Who invented puns anyway?

(Actually, this one isn't so bad).

I always wondered what that word meant. I thought it had to do with gawdy European clothing from a century ago.

Greg, it means that too.

So is the thing about Vick's eliminating scratches on vinyl records for real or just license to make the pun work?

Funny!

I can't believe you asked that! If you have some valuable records, why don't you give it a try and let us know if it works (lol)

Sounds messy and I don't see how it could work. But I would love for someone to try it and let us know if it works.
