Too much blogging? Me?

I’ve spent a good deal of time, I suppose, trying to get the new blog off the ground. Maybe a little too much time. I ran across this old ‘toon which struck home, so I think I’ll be devoting a little less time to the learning curve and a little more time to fun with wifey…

We’ll be leaving on vacation Saturday with wifey’s sister and b-i-l (visiting from Chicago) to introduce them to Carmel and Yosemite. It’s unlikely I’ll be posting anything while we’re gone. See you in a week or so!

Very funny.

I actually think the quality of your blog far exceeds the quantity (although some posts do run long). Some bloggers post several times a day. While they may feels they have a lot to say, they may also theorize that spreading their posts over an entire day will make readers return to their sites more frequently, thus raising their stats.

Personally I prefer checking my regular reading once a day. I use a news reader so I know when they post fresh material, but I'm not obsessive about checking every time new material is posted. Once a day is adequate for me.

I can't speak for your wife, but compared to some other blogs I read, yours is refreshly short and direct.

I remember this. Funny, and we are all guilty of it. It sounds like you will make amends on vacation. Hang in there!

It's all about balance, keeping everything in its relative order. That means your wife first :-) and everything else after that.

Pay attention :-)
