Rough Weekend?

This is no way to start (or end) a summer weekend! Must have been pretty dramatic to witness and horrifying for the family in the pickup! And is that someone still in the vehicle? Were it not for one fortuitously placed boulder, both the pickup and the boat would have plunged into the canyon and the outcome would have been very different.

Hell no! I have seen this amazing photo somewhere before. Fortunately, I don't believe anyone was seriously injured.

Happened on Hwy 50, I believe. Some years back.
The truck was recovered. The seat of the truck was a complete loss however, as were the pants the driver was wearing.

I can only imagine how scared the people in the truck must have been when they realized they were going over the cliff.
