Does anyone else think Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac sound more like cartoon characters than mortgage finance companies? Kind of like Homer Simpson or Wile E. Coyote but not so funny…

I agree, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are cartoonish names but no one is laughing now.
Maybe someone one day will make a cartoon series using those names but right now we are still smarting.
