LOL that is too funny!
Do people still use rabbit ears?
That is sad. :(
We use one in our spare bedroom. It really isn't so complicated, is it?
Poor woman. I sure do hope the things aren't that complicated to hook up. My grandmother lives in a trailer park and lots of older people there have those antennas.
I predict a media event come February.
Seniors will struggle to get the things hooked up and the media will love reporting their plight. There will almost certainly be shortages, with the media already praying for long lines outside stores to provide fodder for the evening news...
Barbara Boxer will, of course, introduce legislation requiring manufacturers to provide simpler instructions with devices sold to the elderly...
Diane Feinstein will insist the "rich" pay for the boxes for the "poor"...
Supporters and non-supporters will take up positions on opposite busy street corners chanting "Yes we can!" or "No we won't" and waving signs for or against the right of "the poor" to receive government-supplied converter boxes and free installation...
Just kidding.
OMG that is funny! I hope it doesn't turn out to be that complicated. I heard it was just one plug.
Having the rich pay for the stuff the poor needs/wants is only "fair". What, you don't want to be fair? Why do you hate poor people? You are a poorophobe.
Funny stuff.
You nailed it Doug. Keep an eye on Boxer and Feinstein and watch out for a reemergence of the so called "Fairness Doctrine".
She looks like my sweet ol' grandmother in Michigan. Somebody up there hook that thing up for her, would ya?
