Right! They are unstable, for sure not ready to run their country as a democracy. There it is all about usurping power away from who ever has it. If they are able to be a democracy I will be surprised.

I suspect the Iraqi government will be overthrown within 6 months of our pullout.

I would normally have said no, but remember: it was the Iraqis who wrestled the shoe thrower down, not the secret service.

Be real, they never will be!! But we have given them a chance to learn to govern under a democracy, it's up to them now to protect it. The odds aren't good though judging by how poorly they have done so far.

If they are not ready by now they never will be. It is "fish or cut bait" time.

I think our strategy should be to tell the Iraqis we're leaving and then hide in the mountains of Pakastan in caves to watch how they do for 6 months. If they get it handled, we leave for good. If they fall on their asses, we come back and use some serious weaponry this time.
