Folding Money

Mike sent this collection of 22 origami using U.S. currency. A fascinating and increasingly popular art form that’s also a creative way to save money! Our friend, Dave, does this for a hobby.

These are great!! Too bad they don't include directions. I would love to try some of them.

There are books on origama (with directions) and I bet there are even web sites with directions as well. Try Googling "origami" and see what you get. There was also an article a week or so back on this site that featured origami. It has a link to the artist's site that I think had diagrams.

I like the cats and the bat. But the woman in the long dress is amazing!

These are great and all, but without directions, how are we supposed to make them?

Don't whine, nobody said you were "supposed to make them." It's art. You don't walk into an art gallery and say "How am I supposed to paint these, there are no directions", do you? Just enjoy the art.

Something similar is happening in the UK with the pound. I will try to find the link and send it to you. Quite amazing indeed!

Yeah, the directions would have been handy, but the Internet has ample directions and diagrams on how to make these and there is always the bookstore.
