Under the Weather
I’m under the weather today. Truth be told, I feel like crap so I’m spending much of the day under the covers.
It’s not as much fun as it sounds. After spending most of Monday with my youngest grandson, Connor, I think I caught his cold. It’s really knocked me on my keister, so I’m derelict in my posting duties and may be tomorrow as well.
Should I get an unexpected burst of energy, I may throw something up, but don’t count on it.
Worst day yet; it’s dropping from my head to my chest. And now it looks like Dawn may be coming down with the same thing. Damn! I hate being sick, but I hate seeing her sick even more.

Sorry to hear that.
Now get back to work! Don't be a slacker!
Just kidding, hope you feel better soon.
Hope it is short lived and you will be feeling better real soon :)
Some people will do anything do get a little sympathy. I'm not saying that is you or anything, just SOME people.
I hear Tequila works wonders. Give it a try and let me know.
Get well soon, we miss your interesting posts!!
There's a lot of that going around. Sorry.
I hope you feel better soon. Remember what your mother always told you: drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. You will be back in action in no time!
No matter how bad you feel, don't let anything dampen your spirit..... ;)
"throwing something up" may not be the best choice of words, under the circumstances, Goombah.
Hope you're feeling better soon, my brother!
I actually thought of that, Brudda -- right after hitting the return key -- but I didn't have it in me to go back and choose alternate phraseology.
For the record, I think this may well be the mother of all respiratory bugs. I'm pretty much "out of it", but I'll try to drag myself downstairs to "post something" (How's that, better?) later today. Bed rest is, after all, quite boring.
