Sophie Goes Fishing
This photo from friends John & Deb Phair of their dog “Sophie” made me chuckle. Sophie is a beautiful Coton de Tuléar, usually meticulously groomed. I fell in love with her the moment I first saw her. Well, who knew? She’s not only a little princess; she can rough it in the wild with the big dogs, too!
“You sorta get dirty fishing but it gives me some quiet time.”

What a cute photo!
Coton's are truly a wonderful breed! We have had a wonderful first month with our little boy "Jack". My husband says he can't wait to take him fishing!
Sophie is TOO cute!
She looks similar to the Bichon Frise. Are they related to that breed?
I had never heard of this breed, but it looks to me as if your friend has one of the best!! She is sooo cute!!
I love this dog! I've never heard of this breed either. I had to check this breed out on the internet. Hair instead of fur. They sound like a wonderful breed of dog. This is one that I'll remember. Thank you for sharing!
WOW.......sooooo cute!!!
Lucky friends! Cotons are my new favorite breed. I have a 2 1/2 year old male picked out at a nearby breeder. I just have to convince my husband of the merits of a second to be a pal for our boy. ;-)
Sophie is adorable!
the only thing better than one cotton ball is two!
I laughed out loud at the sheer cuteness of this little cotton ball! Just adorable.
Of course she is an "outdoor girl"! As long as there is the spa after :)
Thanks for sharing this darling picture!
They originated in Madagascar? Such an adorable face! Thanks for introducing me to a new breed! Sophie is precious! Her expression seems to say she wants to have her little feet cleaned as soon as possible :-)
I haven't had such a good laugh in days!! What a great way to help get over Hump Day. Sophie's comical face seems to say, "I haz dirt! U help plz?" Cracked me up!!
Love your friend's doggie! I am a relative newbie to the Coton de Tulear breed. I saw one at the groomer's last year and have worked hard to find out more about it. I understand that many dogs are sold as Cotons that are really not.
'Sophie' is a doll and I particularly like her expression in this picture ;)
cute little floatation devise... i mean really cute.
Sophie (great name choice!) is precious!
I am owned by a 9-year-old Coton named Charlie so I know the joy you feel at knowing such a wonderful "friend". My life with Charlie just keeps getting better and better. I was told before I got him that this was the "perfect breed", and I truly believe that.
Maybe there is one in your future :)
Sophie is adorable!
I've been planning on getting a coton for a couple of years. As soon as I retire and can stay home with him all day, I will get one. Maybe two!
