Beautiful Finnish Sunset

Michael sent this image of a beautiful sunset “looking toward the island across the lake” during their recent trip to Finland to visit Sisko’s mom. Says Michael, “It was about 10 PM and the sky was even more brilliant than the photo portrays.”

Very nice composition, but it could use a little Photoshop to open up the shadows. Curves might help too. Otherwise, a very nice image.

On the contrary, I think it is perfect. It is clearly well into night, yet the sky is still afire. I love it and wouldn't change a thing.
