Great 360 Degree Panoramic Image of Times Square

Check out this amazing full-screen 360 degree interactive panoramic image of Times Square, NYC, from teltip.com. You can zoom in/out with the Shift/Ctrl keys and move up or down and left or right with the arrow keys. Great pano image. Listen for the sounds of the street, music to New Yorkers’ ears… (Requires Quicktime)

Be sure to view the other QRVR panoramics on the site. I especially liked the one of La Basilique Notre-Dame, Montréal, with Pachabel’s Canon in D.

These are quite amazing and the music is well associated. I liked those shot in Montreal. They make me want to grab my cameras and go!

I am having a problem viewing these. They take a LONG tome to load, even longer if I wait for the music. I suspect the culprit is my antique PC. I have DSL but the PC is so old it probably lacks the poop to push this much data.

Anyone else having similar problems or am I the only guy around with such a piece of crap machine?

I think your problem is your old PC. These files are pretty big and your system is working extra hard to load them.

The good news is, maybe it's time to get a new one!

Love the PV Mexico one. I may move there after this election the way things are going.

Wow! The Marie Reine du Monde in Montreal is beautiful. Paired with Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 8 and it is breathtaking!

I gather the photographer uses an ultrawide lens and takes 28-35 images making a 360 level turn, then patches them together in Photoshop? A lot of work, but the results are worth it!

These are amazing!! It sounds like it is a LOT of work to make just one of these images. But great for us who get to see them!!

Cool stuff. What's with the hockey game? Teams are ready but virtually no one in the stands? Maybe a mixup with the calendar?

"Today is Thursday, eh?"

"No, it's Wednesday."

"WTF, eh?"
