The Annual Office Christmas Party
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was good to you and yours. Jeff sent along this morsel of post-Christmas humor to round out the week…
The morning after the annual office Christmas party, John awoke with cotton mouth, a pounding headache and was unable to recall the events of the previous evening. After a trip to the bathroom, he stumbled downstairs where his wife handed him a cup of strong, hot coffee.
“Louise,” he moaned, “tell me about last night. Was it as bad as I think?”
“Even worse,” she assured him in her most scornful tone. “You made a complete ass of yourself. You succeeded in antagonizing the entire board of directors and you insulted the CEO to his face.”
“Well, he’s an arrogant, pompous ass! Piss on him!”
“You did. All over his suit,” Louise informed him, “so he fired you.”
“Well, screw him!” said John.
“I did,” said Louise. “You’re back at work on Monday.”

omglol! That is too funny! Reminds me of another joke I will have to send you :o
Funny!
I hope this didn't happen to anyone at your Xmas party!
That is very bad :o and very funny at the same time lol!
We hope your Christmas was merry (but not THIS merry) lol. Ours was wonderful. Our oldest daughter and grandkidlets came down from Vancouver last week and will stay through New Years making it an especially good one this year. Unfortunately, I have to return to work Monday but I will enjoy every minute of family time. The grandkidlets are growing so fast!
Merry Christmas Doug! Hope your Christmas was a good one and Santa brought your favorite things :)
We were scheduled to fly to Chicago to visit my folks but with so many flights getting canceled or delayed, we decided to wait until Spring. Neither of us wanted to spend Christmas stranded in an airport. We real quick put up our tree Christmas Eve and had a nice Christmas at home complete with carols and eggnog. And there is always next year :)
Too funny!
Our company doesn't have a holiday party anymore. Yes, they had started calling it a 'holiday' party instead of 'Christmas'; party until last year when they pulled the plug completely. We always had at least one employee who fits this description. Come to think of it, maybe that is why they discontinued them lol.
Thanks for the well wishes!
Our Christmas was wonderful and continues tonight with our "family tree" at Steve & Lori's home. We always enjoy the entire herd together, especially at this time of year. We weren't able to coordinate it yesterday, so we moved it to tonight. We're really looking forward to being together!
